how to download videos off youtube

i really should not be posting this but i think there's nothing wrong with sharing a little knowledge **
it's really easy..

first, what you need to do is open youtube.com, search for the video you want to download and copy the url of that video.

second, open in another window (i dont know if this thing works on mac and others) a downloading site.. i use keepvid.com for this.

third, paste the video url to where it should be pasted at the download site (just follow the commands!) then click download.

fourth, click the download flv link then save the video from getvideo to ___.flv (e.g. funny.flv cool.flv wtf.flv)

fifth, after the downloading is done, you may want to convert your flv file to wmv, real or other formats. (unless you prefer using flv which i dont). you will need a video converter for this. i use prism converter http://www.nchsoftware.com/prism/index.html (it's the best i've used so far and its free!)

6th and last, convert your flv file with the converter.. then you're done!
