i made this story for my psychology class. it's a personality assessment kind of thing.. i'm telling you now, it's a bit corny. dont blame me that i did not warn you! i'm no pro writer so please forgive..
She has big brown eyes, bouncy jet black hair and a childish smile she would always wear. She was just your typical girl, the kind that you wouldn’t notice in a crowd – though he knows she’s not as ordinary as she thinks she is. He knew she dances pretty well and that she plays the piano just as great. Plus someone who rocks the microphone as hard as Joan Jett must not be considered “just ordinary.” She was also quite good at the lenses too – though she insists that photography was “for hobbies only”. He was there to witness most of her first times – her first crush, her first singing gig, her first love, her first heartache. He was her crying shoulder, her jester, her punching bag... And he knows everything about her… or thinks maybe he does.

He has grey eyes and short spiky brown hair. His smile was toothy. At 5 foot 7, he towers over her, but for a jock he was quite small. Yep, he was a jock, but he was not your typical less-time-for-studies-more-time-for-practice jock. Actually, he was quite good at school and he was a funny guy too. That’s the reason so many girls would drool over him, and that’s also why so many of them hated her. She watched him grow up – from the first time he was accepted to the school’s foot ball team to his first winning goal, from his first date to his latest – she was always there to back him up. She was his confidante, his entertainer whenever he feels down, his mother’s proxy to keep the nagging going. She knows everything about him.. or thinks maybe she does.
Last night they bid each other goodbye, he’ll be leaving for another country to where his father’s job will be transferred. He watched her cry like she never did before. He told her to take care and that he’d see him soon. She did not say a word.
That night he wanted to kiss her, and dry her tears and tell her everything that he feels, but he did not. Her boyfriend was his friend and he does not want to betray. Plus, he’ll soon be leaving and probably they will not see each other again. He does not want to complicate things. All he can do for now is to forget and walk away.
That night she wanted to hug him, and ask him to say, and be honest with her feelings for once, but she did not. She could have, all she’s waiting for is for him to tell her those words she was longing to hear but that did not come. She was afraid that he doesn’t feel the same, she kept her mouth shut. Plus, he’ll soon be leaving and probably they will not see each other again. She does not want to complicate things. All she can do for now is to forget and look out her window and watch him walk away.
They thought they knew each other but actually there are many secrets left unsaid.
He doesn’t know that every line she sings were meant for him, and that his toothy smile was the subject of most of her photographs, and that the only reason she was so eager to learn to dance was because she once overheard him say that his dream girl would be someone he can take at the middle of the dance floor and not step on his feet. She doesn’t know she was his inspiration for every goal he’s trying to make, and that it was her and not the free meals that was his purpose on attending her every gig, and that he was really no funny guy – the only reason he was willing to be labeled as such was because he did not want to see her sad.
They thought they knew each other but actually they did not know a thing.
--what the fck was i thinking.. joan jett??
